My favorite product for daily brushing dog's teeth, by Addison Biological Lab Inc. From Google Shopping search. Flavorless dentifrice makes it EASIER to train your dog to be still, minimizes licking and allows you to do a more efficient job of cleaning.
Clenz-a-dent with Chlorhexidine Gluconate 0.13% and Zinc, made by Sogeval. I keep it on hand for the occassional sign of infection and for application immediately after a dental scaling.
Do NOT follow the manufacturer's directions. Use only as needed, where needed. Prolonged, continual use will yellow the teeth.
Be sure that you don't order the Rinse and WATER ADDITIVE by mistake.
I no longer reccommend Dentahex (VET, Vetoquinol) because they added alcohol to their formula.
The Virbac CET small dog (and cat) toothbrush. I don't recommend buying the kits with paste because the toothpaste is flavored, which encourages
excessive licking. Available from Google Shopping. Not to be confused with bulky finger brushes or dual ended brushes. For micro mini dogs (like tiny Chihuahuas) I like to use foam dental swabs or applicators.
Highest quality nail grinder on the market.
From Google Shopping search.
Don't confuse smarmy bedside manner and fancy waiting rooms with ethical veterinary practices or quality medical treatment! These vets are more more like old-time family physicians. Sensible and no-nonsense, unlike profit oriented chains like VCA.

The Rabies Challenge Fund Charitable Trust will determine the duration of immunity conveyed by rabies vaccine. The goal is to extend the required interval for rabies boosters to 5 and then to 7 years.
All Pets Dental is the website of Dr. Jan Bellows. I LOVE this guy! It is rare for a vet to make such a supreme effort to provide valuable education for the public. Of course my favorite part is his strong argument for brushing pet's teeth daily!
Breeder Veterinary Services offers clinics at dog shows in CA for microchipping and OFA screening, etc.
